I am a huge Tomb Raider Fan, but since there are no new Tomb Raider games to play until Underworld, what are some games that have the look and gameplay of Tomb Raider? Do you know of any games currently out or soon to be released?

I WANT UNDERWORLD!!!

Uncharted.
I haven't played it myself.
But apparently it's Tomb Raider's arch rival at the moment.

I suggest Unchartered, but I haven't played it either. You could try Prince of Persia, I love those games, or perhaps the new Alone in the Dark? or Lego Indiana Jones which is just adorable.

Uncharted kinda sucks..sorry to say...
But the only other TombRaider like game is Indianna Jones that hasn't come out for sometime now so it's quite old.

Yeah, i just got a wii, and got the legend of zelda twilight princess, really recommend it. obviously it isnt tomb raider, because of the obvious differences, but hyrule is enormous and fantastic, and the temples are made like every zelda game, so they are challenging, and puzzling. you guys should try it, but of course then you need a wii, and i also think it is for gamecube, not sure.
well anyways, don't get mad at me, but i did not buy anniversary for wii.
i beat it on my pc a bunch of times, on my mac a bunch of times, and i just dont wanna play it anymore, gonna get addicted all over again, playing the same levels. I'll just wait till underworld. TOTALY getting underworld.

p.s. sorry for not posting in such a long time, before e3, nothing new was really going on.

Uncharted is an awesome game, and defiantly a great stop-gap between now and TRU being released. Maybe misses a little of the atmosphere of TR, but the graphics and gameplay are top notch and the story is compelling enough to make you want to keep playing.

I enjoyed it more than every Tomb Raider from II to TRL :wistle:

Like most people say, get uncharted if you have a ps3. yet, there isnt a whole lot of other games out there that has the same theme as tomb raider, but I recommend games like ex: Grand Turismo 5p (Worth every penny for ps3), Metal Gear Soild 4 (another awsome game for ps3). If you have a PC Call of Duty 4 is a good shooter, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion if you don't have it already, but there is a hell of a lot more good games out there waiting to be played. I usually check out IGN or something like that to see its ratings of games, then with this information I can make a descension of what game I will purchase next. I hope in the future theres more games that compete with Tomb raider like Uncharted. Competition for the win xD.

I bought Uncharted today as I just got a PS3 and it is rather cheap nowadays.
I'm liking it so far, it looks great and its a lot of fun. There are so many similarities to the Tomb Raider games.
Especially the CD ones. If there wasn't so many gunfights I would've loved it.
Tomb Raider still ranks out on top of course.

I think for the PS3 userbase TRU has a lot to prove, it needs to better then Uncharted
